When Linny* found out she was pregnant, she was already carrying more than anyone knew. She was navigating a difficult pregnancy while trying to escape domestic violence.
Home did not feel safe, the future felt uncertain, and she felt alone. Unsure where to turn, Linny reached out to Diamond Women.

Through counselling, practical support, and the M2M program, Linny found more than support services, she found a village. Linny met people who walked alongside her through motherhood, learnt practical parenting skills, and discovered a community that cared not only for her son, but for her too.

Linny and her little boy still attend workshops at Diamond Women, staying connected with other Diamond mums and supporting women who are now walking the journey she once faced alone.
